St Barnabas, Claverham is a chapel of ease to Holy Trinity, Cleeve.
Regular worshippers for St Barnabas and Holy Trinity are 34 as of 2023. There is a depth of prayer and commitment that indicates a deep faithfulness in following our Lord. At present the congregation meets twice a month (usually on the 2nd and 4th Sundays) for communion services shared with Holy Trinity.
Cleeve with Claverham have a thriving Mothers' Union - see separate link.
The church is a flexible space with moveable chairs rather than pews and is easily accessible. It is used for meetings and since 2017 it has been used by North Somerset Arts during their biennial county-wide arts week.
St Barnabas is strong on pastoral care and mission ably assisted by a retired priest and his wife, who live in the village.
